Project Challenge:

Celadon Trucking was looking for an energy efficient heating system for their new facility. Along with heating the space, Celadon wanted summer ventilation to cool the space during the summer months. 

Equipment Solution:

AirBoss designed a system that utilized (4) ER-142-400 + (4) Intake Louvers. The louvers ducted into The AirBoss Units satisfied ASHRAE 62.1 and provided one air change per hour for summer ventilation. The AirBoss Units heated the facility to 70˚ with half the utility cost of industry standard 80/20 MAUs. The choice to install The AirBoss Units over Makeup Air Units led to a simple payback in under a year and a half for Celadon Trucking. 

Results with AirBoss:

Celadon experienced Annual Savings totaling $15,635:

• Electrical – 78,420 kW at $.10/kW 
• Natural Gas – 9,741 therms at $.80/therm

Celadon received verified Vectren Gas Rebate:
