Project Challenge:

Brooks commissioned a new distribution facility in Whitestown, IN off of Interstate 65.  Brooks wanted their warehouse to utilize a high efficiency HVAC to maintain 70°-0° in the winter and provide ventilation for the summer heat.  

Equipment Solution:

AirBoss supplied (8) ER-242-800s to heat the facility, (4) Intake Hoods to meet ASHRAE 62.1 and (7) Exhaust Fans interlocked with Intake Louvers to provide 1.5 Air Changes per Hour. The (8) AirBoss Units also deliver 1.5 air turnovers per hour which allows Brooks to maintain a temperature below 77° without having to install air conditioning units.   

Results of AirBoss System:

Brooks experiences Annual Savings totaling $94,915:

• Electrical – 235,300 kWh at $.10/kWh 
• Natural Gas – 89,231 therms at $.80/therm

Brooks received verified Vectren Rebate:
